Welcome to Version 1.10.0!

In this exciting update, we’ve replaced the THINK function with a much improved RECHARGE function. The RECHARGE function scores how well you’re recovering every day based on sleep habits, heart rate variability, resting heart rate, and other lifestyle factors such as exercise, hydration, and mindfulness. You also have the ability to add in activities that help you recover including cold water immersion, sauna, massage, breathwork, meditation, and nature therapy.

1. RECHARGE FUNCTION

We built this function to help you track how well you’re recovering on a daily basis. There is a powerful mind-body connection so your RECHARGE score is based on not only sleep, but also on your stress levels, how mindful you are, your physical activity levels, and on what activities you’re incorporating into your day to help your body and mind recover.

Here is what the RECHARGE home screen looks like:

 

Sleep heart rate variability. Measured only if you wear your watch to track sleep.

Resting heart rate. Your resting heart rate during sleep if you wear your watch to bed, otherwise average of resting heart rate measured with Apple health.

Day heart rate variability. Average HRV of any spot stress checks with VIIVIO or HRV measured with Apple health.

Exercise stress. A measure of physical stress based on time spent exercising and intensity.

Mindfulness minutes. Will sync to any mindfulness/meditation app that syncs to Apple health (e.g. Mindfulness app, Calm, Headspace, etc.).

Hydration. Total cups of water recorded in the VIIVIO Eat function.

Total sleep. Total sleep time from the VIIVIO Sleep function.

Sleep quality. Sleep quality from the VIIVIO Sleep function (only if you wear your watch to track sleep).

 

2. TRACK YOUR RECOVERY

To help track your recovery over time, this new function displays how your Heart Rate Variability and Resting Heart Rate change from day to day. You can look at these measures over the last 7 days, 30 days, and 90 days. Measuring how your HRV changes over time is a great way to track if you’re recovering properly (both physically and mentally). Learn more here!

 
 

3. RECOVERY TACTICS

You will also be able to add in any activities that help with recovery, including:

  • Cold water immersion

  • Sauna

  • Massage therapy

  • Breathwork

  • Mindfulness & Meditation

  • Nature therapy

Simply select the recovery tactic that you’ve done that day and then use the slider to indicate how many minutes you spent doing that activity.
