Version 1.7.0 is live!
Welcome to Version 1.7.0!
In this exciting update, VIIVIO can now read workouts and sleep data from any app or device that syncs with Apple Health, including Strava, Garmin, and Oura! Read below to learn more.
1. Syncing with other apps
With this update, VIIVIO can now sync with any app or device that syncs with Apple Health. So if you have a particular app you like using to track your workouts or sleep, you can continue to do so.
All you have to do is make sure that the app you’re using is writing to Apple Health. You can do this by going to your Health app > Apps > Select the app you’d like to sync with VIIVIO > Turn on All. See examples for Strava and Sleep Cycle below.
Now if you record an activity or sleep session in one of these apps, the data will be reflected in your VIIVIO summary and will contribute to your VIIVIO score. See an example of what a Strava workout summary looks like in VIIVIO.
This will help you keep track of all your health data in one place!
2. Heart Rate Recovery
With this update, you will also be able to track how well you’re recovering after a workout. VIIVIO will now track and record your heart rate for the first two minutes after you’ve clicked on FINISH. This data will appear in the Activity Summary.
We hope you enjoy these new features!
To make sure you have this update installed, go to the 'About VIIVIO' page in your settings and you should see the version number at the bottom (v1.7.0).
Thanks for being part of the VIIVIO community! Stay tuned for the next update.
Until then, keep using the app as much as possible, and as always, send us all of your questions, comments, and feedback to support@viiv.io.
